Random Thoughts about this Damn Primary Season

Wow. This damn primary season has been long.

This has been exhausting.  I just don't have the staminia for this.  Maybe it's because I'm a new voter? (32 and voted first time ever on January 19.)  Voting vets are probably used to it.

Wow.  If I'm this tired, imagine how Barack feels!

I know I'm watching too much political coverage because at least once a day while I am watching MSNBC my satellite box puts up a message that says, "Due to inactivity your receiver is going into stand-bye mode.  Click 'cancel' or select 'no' to cancel." and then I swear.

I wonder if people would have gotten as engaged in this primary if the WGA writers' strike hadn't have happened.

Chuck Todd is kind of cute, is he single?  "Chuck" is a great name to run through the "The Name Game." (Chuck, Chuck bo Buck, Banana fana...)

Crap, I have an Art History final next tuesday.

Double crap, I have three Art History papers to write this weekend.

Wow.  When I first started volunteering for the Obama campaign I wasn't even thinking about going back to school.  Now I am less than a week away from finishing my first year.

Wow.  This damn primary season has been long.

  Longest it has been in my life, and I think the last time it went on this long (was that 1968?), there weren't blogs or 24-hour cable TV news channels.

  Anyway, props to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and their families and supporters and volunteers for sticking it out, putting in so much effort, day after day.
