Did anyone get their stimulus money yet?

I don't expect to get my stimulus money until after May 16th, I get it mailed and according to our last digits of our S.S.# that is when it scheduled to be mailed out.
However, as of today, I spoke to 8 people whose social security numbers and the fact that it is to be direct deposited into their checking accounts, should have received it last week. None of these eight people got it yet. Did anyone in this community get their stimulus money yet?

I am starting to think Bush's press conference last week about them being a week early in getting the stimulus money to all of us was another Bush lie. I don't know what reason he would have to lie again. Maybe to take all of our attention away from high gas prices, the faltering economy, or maybe something worse. All I know is 8 people I talked to, who should already have their stimulus money don't have it yet.
Maybe this is a dumb diary, but it is really bothersome to me and I hope you all can provide some feed back.

    Mine isn't showing up yet as I filed too close to the April 15 date. (If you didn't have your return processed by April 15, you won't get your check until after most of the first ones were mailed/sent ou.

      It's arriving this month if you used direct deposit for your income tax refund and depending on your SSN. If you don't have direct deposit for income tax, it will be a while longer.

  but it won't go far.  Just filled my fuel oil tank (half empty) and it cost me over $400.  We're now driving out to visit our grandkids.  A trip that cost me $80 in gas 10 years ago now will cost $350.  We can afford it, but for people who drive to work, this gasoline price hike has got to be catastrophic.

    the economy of my dentist. I just found out yesterday, I need a root canal. It's bad enough I have to have a root canal, but I have to use this money to get it. Double pain.
