A DON'T MISS diary

This is going to be short.

MsSpentyouth has a diary that you should read: Killing Alan: Suicide by Spreadsheet.

I've my own history of family with cancer, but her story is one that should not be happening in our country yet too frequently does.

Too often diary rescues happen too late to get on the recommended list. I believe her's deserves to be on the list, yet with so many fighting over Tim Russert's death and the latest outrage from the right, I'm afraid it'll be overlooked.

It. shouldn't. be.

The president of the American Cancer Society recently took the fight to the rightwing Fox Business News to tout the importance of the federal government's role in Cancer Research.

  American Cancer Society agrees with you.  What is the point of creating cures if you can't deliver them to people because of our broken health care system?

  Would you be willing to do another of these diaries tomorrow so the Chipin could be included. I know it would help. Right now there's only 50 bucks in there. I'll put in tomorrow too, even though I'm so broke, but this story is horrible.
