Thank you, Kossacks for Obama (w/Video)

Hey Kossacks -- It was great to get a chance to meet so many of you in person in Austin. In case you didn't get a chance to check out our panel, you can read the diary I wrote about it here, or check out Progress Illinois' video coverage.

Here's a little video I put together featuring some of the Kossacks I met who've been so active on DailyKos and in organizing on the ground in their communities.     Bush laid the groundwork for even further disaster. Think it's bad now? Imagine going even further to the right.

    I remind myself of that whenever I feel disappointed in Obama. Worst case scenario with him is that we stand still. With Bush III, there's no end in sight.

    We had so much fun!! Except for that part where I was leaving and sprained my ligament...or...thought I broke my leg.

    The best part of being on the painkillers - I woke up at 2:15 this morning telling clonecone that he MUST get up right now and we MUST go register voters...it has to be done 24/7...and people just don't get it. They aren't doing enough!

    He laughed so hard when he told me about that this morning...it's sort of a vague dream for me.

      Once while camping I thought I had badly sprained an ankle... turns out it was broken (the lower leg, not ankle).

      Funny... I still went wine tasting before I went to the hospital. I swear I didn't think it was broken.

      Hmmmm, painkillers...

      Too bad our local Obama group leader wasn't at the convention (he doesn't blog much) so he could have been in that video too. I am proud of how active we are, here in N. CA where a lot of people aren't "in gear" quite yet. He does promotion better than I... I just make us look good ;-)

        I'm sorry we didn't get to meet!! I swear...we need to do some sort of "calling all Kossacks that are going to NN" diary prior to leaving. I never remember/have time for such things - and I doubt I'll be there next year as we'll hopefully be getting married the following month.
