I completely forgot my parents' anniversary which means I must travel tonight.

My good friend PerfectStormer is enabling me in my addiction by lending me his diary and gosh darn it our community of late night insomniacs is going to slug it through somehow because all we really give a damn about anyway is the chat.

And I won't even be around for it, may not be back online until Monday which is why it sucks to be me.

But I deserve it.  It's my own damn fault for being born both a Gilmore and a procrastinator with poor short term memory and an inability to say 'no'.

  I'm taking my required Speech class for college and it sucks. I was never really good at remembering things in a speech, unless I was reading them directly from the paper. I taped two speeches tonight and I think it took about 15 takes for each one. I had a hard time getting through the first couple of paragraphs of each one. Only two speeches left, which I'll have to do tonight or tomorrow, thanks to my love of procrastinating.

        It is all about rhythm.  Write your speeches like poetry and they'll be easy to memorize.

        As long as you are under 30 and have some brain cells left which haven't been soaked in gin, like me.

            Give him something different.

            I wrote an essay on the Altamont Rock Concert (where the guy was stabbed at a Stones Performance).  For a cultural anthropology class.  We were supposed to be writing about Gopalpur, India.

            I got an A+.  Ms Laser got a B.  She was so pissed.  She said "You write bullshit and get an A and I researched this paper and got a B!"

            Thus Captainlaser's law was born.

      I don't know about dogs, but my experience with cats is that they want to move around more while the anesthesia is wearing off than later. Of course, cats can't take the kind of painkillers that dogs can, and they won't move around so much while they're feeling yucky.

  I think it's a nice night for a midnight walk. Last time I went (last week) I was followed by a stranger in a car. He kept driving past me and then stopping, turning around and driving past me again. Good thing I always carry my cell phone with me (and a pocket knife, but I'd rather not be in a situation where I need it).
