Facts: (1) McCain is nearly 72
(2) His recently released medical records say nothing about his mental condition
(3) Almost all men of his age show significant slowing of their mental faculties
(4) He's showing apparently diagnostically significant signs of dementia or some similar condition - see after the fold
(5) The MSM and the establishment seem to be happy to push a guy into the WH who probably isn't fit on mental health grounds to complete one term

And I didn't even mention the fact that most forms of dementia are accompanied by a tendency toward irascibility and loss of emotional self-control

First check out this link (it's safe): http://www.americablog.com/...

I was gobsmacked (British expression) by this - we all know McCain is intellectually soomewhere around Obama's knee level, but this is in quite a different zone. This is men-in-white-coats "Come along Mr. McCain, it's time for your medication" territory. (See the comments on americablog)

I don't wish to mock sufferers from dementia , there's nothing funny about it, and they deserve our support and compassion. But they shouldn't run for f***ing President of the United States - and the ratbags in the media who are supporting him should spontaneously combust from sheer shame. (If only!)

No doubt this will go viral very quickly - the video's from YouTube anyway - but is there no way it can go into a TV ad? (Not from the campaign, obviously.)

If this vain, sick and deluded old man ends up in the WH he may end up being even a bigger disaster than GWB. It's never mattered more that we all do our best to make sure it doesn't happen.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
