About a month ago, I posted a link to a new report from the non-partisan Center for Public Integrity called "Broken Government." You can see my older post here. The report catalogued 128 systematic failures of the Bush administration.
I read most of it and put it down for Christmas vacation, and today decided to go back to see if anything new had been added. Turns out they've added a new feature that I'm loving... a toy that lets you rank the worst failures of the Bush administration. A reverse top 10 list, if you will.
You can check it out and vote here.
(My picks after the jump)
I love the drag and drop interface, personally. It's... shiny.
Anyway, it'd be fun to get some Kossacks to go vote and list their picks here. My top ten:
False Premise in Going To War
Climate Change: Hide the Assessment
Limited Ability to Block Dangerous Imports
Problems in Oversight of Food Safety
Scandal, Incompetence at Minerals Management Service
Poor Health Care for Veterans
Lax Oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac
Signing Statements Thwart Congressional Intent
FAA in the Dark on Maintenance
We Can't Afford Another Flood
Anyway... go vote and report back which ones you liked (or hated, I guess). It's a cool project even without this, but as Toys R' Us taught me many years ago, moving parts make anything more interesting.
