It isn't enough the bilious blowhard wants to overturn the results of the presidential election on a nonsensical technicality; he now wants to be compensated for the Senate seat he lost to Obama in 2004. In a recent filing augmenting his previous lawsuit to overturn the election results in California where he ran on the ballot as an independent candidate for President (since the GOP and even the Constitution Party rejected his candidacy), the Keyester's attorney claimed that Obama's birth status should not only negate the results of the presidential election but the 2004 election for U.S. Senate from Illinois as well where Obama easily defeated Keyes.
According to attorney Orly Taitz:
Plaintiff Keyes has additionally suffered substantial harm due to the following circumstances:
a. In 2006 Plaintiff Keys was a runner-up in a US senate race from the state of Illinois to Defendant Obama.
b. If indeed the Obama is not a citizen of the United States, then he is not a legal naturalized citizen either and cannot be a United States senator either.
c. In this case Plaintiff Keyes would be sworn as a United States senator as a runner up in the prior election. This logically means that Plaintiff Keyes will suffer immediate specific damage without this question being resolved.
I really don't believe the Keyester has standing to sue in this case, whatever the validity of his attorney's arguments concerning Obama's citizenship. Unlike the Keyester (and some of his supporters), at least we know Obama is from Planet Earth.
