What a historic day. People all over the world are exultant, knowing that there will be a change in the way the United States does business.
But there will be a hangover courtesy of the Bush Administration.
More over the jump...
Clear Channel Communications has decided to cut 1,850 jobs in all of its departments. That's 1,850 more families deprived of one of their incomes, 1,850 more families worried that they won't be able to keep a roof over their heads, and 1,850 families who might not able able to get medical care.
One has to wonder, given the wingnut history of Clear Channel, if they didn't take a page out of Bush's book and release the news on a heavy news day so that no one will notice.
Well, someone did.
Sorry for the short diary, but I'm disgusted.
