well this guy:
see, we're not prejudice anymore!!!
The Republicans have been living in the Archie Bunker era for quite some time where they consider nominating a black person the head of the RNC as "progress." Just a few months ago they were playing Barack the Magic Negro on the Rush Limbaugh show. Did the Republicans forget Saltsman already?
Somthing finally clicked within the GOP think tanks:
The World and the country are changing. We are becomming a melting pot of different races, different religions, different creeds, etc.
I would call Steele a victory for the Democrats because we forced the GOP to realize they had to broaden their tent of inclusion in order for their pathetic platform to survive. They finally are realizing that their species are on the verge of extinction if they don't change their ignorance and arrogance. (Especially you Mr. Rush Limbaugh)
I suspect Steele will be a wolf in sheeps clothing talking a good game for the working class of this country (the GOP's Obama) while his party continues to champion agenda for the rich and the failed "trickle down economics" that lead us in the ditch we are in. What Steele and the GOP don't understand is how patronizing this move is at this time in our juncture. People are smart enough to know the history of the GOP and even as far as a couple of months ago (as a pointed above) you were not representative of the minority in our country. I find it even more insulting that you would interject an obvious race card at this point in the game. Most Democrats will recognize Michael Steele no more or less as a person while your party will label him a "black" person. What's next? Obama is half white so does that make the GOP more in tune with African Americans? You guys just don't get it...LOL!!
So while you guys are trying to put on a new "inclusiveness" to your party's agenda I have had 5 very close friend and family members(of various races) lose their careers of over 15 to 20 years. Their dreams are shattered because of the 95% of the other fixes, your party needed over the last eight years screwed them!!!
Hat's off to Steele!! but let it be known, as a voting minority in this country, I will never vote Republican again until many of your hateful bretheren have died off and true change have come to your party. Your illusions and smoke and mirror games won't work anymore!!!
