OK, maybe not, but I do give them this much credit: they are looking under every figurative stone for conspiracy theories with which to attack the Obama administration. And, like most good conspiracy theories, they tell you just enough of the story to support their theory because if they told you the whole truth their theory would fall apart like a house of cards in a windstorm.
The top post was called "Hero Worship" by managing editor Erick Erickson. With all the important stuff going on in the world, "RedState's Dear Leader" (as his profile page describes him) takes the Obama administration to task for the directory name in which the photos that go on the front page of whitehouse.gov are stored.
We know Obama followers are part of a cult. We have more proof of that today.
Go to the White House website.
Click on the picture that comes up in the top third. Doesn’t matter which picture it is. Open it in a new window.
Note the directory: "Hero"
That’s right. Instead of an images directory, the Obama White House puts pictures of Obama in the "Hero" directory.
OH. MY. GOD. This is HUGE! Why isn't the elitist liberal media covering this story?
Well, maybe because there is no story. Unless you want the headline to scream, "WhiteHouse.gov web designers dare to use standard terminology!"
"Hero" happens to be a common designation for the primary image on a Web site. I work in web analytics/site optimization and have seen many clients refer to that space as the "hero slot" or talk about the "hero image."
Seriously, Mr. Erickson. You have nothing better to do than worry about what image directory the whitehouse.gov design team is uing? How about giving them props for all the interactive features they've built that allow normal everyday citizens to participiate and have their voice heard? Yeah, that's right, you'd rather spend your time feeding red meat to the conspiracy theorists that must make up a substantial part of RedState's audience.
Note: Yes, I realize Spawn and Thor are out of place alphabetically but once the poll is submitted there's no going back.
