May be coming back.
If we could take a quick break from stimulating the economy, healthcare reform, immigration and Afghanistan, and get to something really important now please?
The Adam Carolla radio show in Los Angeles has been cancelled.
This is a short and relatively snarky diary, but you know the economy is bad when businesses start laying offcelebrities! I know people get fired from radio all the time, but I think this has to do with the economy given the timing.
For those of you who don't know who Adam Carolla is, he at one time was the co-host of The Man Show (with Jimmy Kimmel), famous for clips of women jumping on trampolines as the credits rolled at the end of the show. He took over the morning slot in LA in 2006 when Howard Stern went to satellite radio.
I happen to listen to him on my drive to work and really enjoyed his show. I'm going to miss it after tomorrow and wonder what they're going to replace it with. Makes you stop and wonder who else may be on the chopping block doesn't it?
Below are some thoughts of mine on who we may want to leave the public eye next. I mean hey, we all have to cut back, right?
