At what point will CNBC, NBC, and MSNBC stop going all in on "Rick’s Revolution"? First the White House and Robert Gibbs hits him, now even Ben Bernanke joins in the fun with a nice assist from Evan Bayh. Regardless of how you feel about Bernanke, and I'm certainly not one sold on him even though I do think he is a great scholar, the anology that he uses is a beefed up one that most of us have been using on the blogs so it's good to see it voiced by someone with a pretty loud bullhorn.

More after the jump
The video pretty much sums it up. Even worse, CNBC’s Power Lunch then assembled a panel, which included Santelli, to discuss Mr. Bernanke’s comments. Santelli defended last week’s rant by saying that the fire has already been put out. WTF? Rick’s logic that the fire has already been put out is beyond absurd and doesn’t even need to be discussed. This guy is a pure hack. He went on to yell and scream as usual with (outside of Steve Lissman) no resistance from the other members of the CNBC hack panel until guest, fellow CNBCer, Donny Deutsch had enough of Rick’s rants and gave Santelli the face to face skewering many of us have been waiting for, or at least a little taste. Unfortunately I can’t find the video of that exchange to post yet but it was priceless. Deutsch essentially said that Ricks’ rants are not based on any logic and that his comments are really just divisive. After Steve Lissman kicked the sh#t out if Santelli’s logic for a moment, Deutsch went on to make an excellent point that at some point he media has to stop kicking and screaming because it’s not a productive way to help us get out of this mess. WOW!!! Donnie hit the freaking nail on the head in a big way and will probably be unemployed by next week given that his station is one of the main one's leading the charge. Santelli is quickly becoming very low hanging fruit for anyone with a brain. I am desperately trying to get the video of Deutsch and will post it once I get my hands on it.

Appears that CNBC doesn't want you to hear their golden boy taken down. I'll leave the link on because I'm asssuming that CNBC will fix their video and I can't find it anywhere else. I'll try to find the video somewhere else.
