as a constituent, i'm annoyed that Sen. Gillibrand still lacks an official website.
i called her office today and was told that it might take a couple of more weeks to get a website up and running
of course i understand that they have to coordinate with the Senate's web-gurus.
And yet, Gillibrand's campaign website has been duly updated, and Kirsten is busy fundraising for 2010.
Gillibrand Seeks $how of Support
March 3, 2009
New York’s new Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is hoping to scare off a few opponents with a nice cash haul this quarter, and she’s using her marquee fund-raiser with Bill Clinton next week to get that money rolling in.
"This is an incredibly important event for my first quarter and the 2010 election," Gilibrand says in a note e-mailed to supporters today
Notice that "opponents" does not specify Republicans or Democrats, since a primary is still a very real possibility.
