Everyone, from the President on down, is consumed with our "brackets" these days...so here at CREDO, we decided to have a little fun with the concept.
Who's the single most malevolent force in American politics these days?

Call them the "Sour Sixteen," or the "Sinister Sixteen," if you will...there are some very difficult decisions to be made here. Limbaugh vs. O'Reilly? Gingrich vs. Norquist? Blackwater vs. AIG? You make the call. Extra special double bonus mojo for anyone who can put up a comment that predicts the winners all the way down to the final.
Have fun with it!
(Please note -- according to Wikipedia: "Evil, in many cultures, is a broad term used to describe intentional negative moral acts or thoughts that are cruel, unjust or selfish." In the context of the Bracket of Evil, we're using the term "evil" to describe the danger that right-wing values pose to our country and our world. We're not attempting to cast this debate in religious terms, but rather to have some fun while making clear the stakes of the fight between a progressive "us" and a right-wing "them.")
(Oh, and you might ask, where's Dick? Unfortunately, he couldn't come out of his secret bunker for the tourney...and, we were afraid he'd just declare the other entrants to be enemy combatants [or worse] and we'd have to call the whole thing off. So he didn't get an invite.)
