Maybe neocons had a point about this whole gay marriage thing. See, on April 15th, there are going to be a number of what they call "teabagging" parties across the US.
To me, it is full of lulz that the fiercest oppponents of 'the ghey' are now not only embracing teabagging, but considering anyone who doesn't teabag on April 15th to be dirty filthy un-American terrorist scum who probably wants to give welfare and cars and free college tuition to illegal Mexicans.
I think, as Good Americans, there is ground for compromise on this. Not all of us want to teabag- perhaps we can file suit to be considered "conscientious objectors" or something. Or, gawd forbid, we might have to move to Canada- or even Russia.
These could be ugly times, folks, a new McCarthyism. "Are you now, or have you ever....."
And even the mechanics still need to be worked out. Will we have to further split the corn crop between animal feed, human food, biofuel, and corn starch to keep "the boys" cool and dry? In a room with Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Newt Gingrich, and Ann Coulter, who would be the teabaggers and who would be the teabaggees?
My friends, these are important and pressing {narf} questions that go to the very heart of our democracy and could cause a Constitutional Crisis of massive John Holmes-ian proportion. (or Long Dong Silver-ian, if chocolate is more your style) You see, our Founding Fathers, in their infinite wisdom, sought to restrict the government's right to dictate what can come our of our mouths, but they never considered the "ram"ifications of what goes into our mouths.
Would we see members of the High Court "swing" on their votes? What would be the Originalist and the Extra-Crispy points of views on the matter?
And what of our new Chinese financial overlords? What would they think? Would the debate even reach the Chinese people, or would Google filter it out over there? Imagine the repercussions if suddenly, 1.3 billion Chinese rose up and stopped producing the goods for the world and instead, followed the neocons' lead and started teabagging?
Back here in the States, would we have a new generation of protest folk singers penning tunes for this new revolution? "All we are saying, is give teabagging a chance"?
Will political talk/argue shows give full air to the subject? Or will the mainstream media conspire to maintain silence on the issue and only neocon media outlets and pundits will have the balls to "come out" (or is it "cum out") strongly on the subject?
These are "heady" times, my friends and fellow Americans, and I thank the gawds that we have Obama as our president because if Bush were still president, well, we might have found ourselves dipping the teabag in the cup of someone who had nothing to do with brewing the tea, if you catch my drift.
