Hello, everybody and welcome to another session of Labor Diary Rescue.
I was asked last week if I would do this more than twice a week, so the rescued diaries could still have a better chance of getting recommended. For right now I’m going to keep doing this twice a week because of a) lack of time and b) lack of diaries. When the EFCA battle heats up in the Senate there will surely be a lot more diaries and I’ll probably move it to Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
But if you do like the authors that are being presented tonight, please subscribe to them. A lot of the people who get rescued write regularly about union issues.
Diaries are below the fold....
As always, diaries rescued must have the word "union" in the tag, have less than 100 comments, be pro-union, and be factual. LDR is done every Monday and Thursday evening.
Shirah has hit latest with The poison fruit of deregulation - Airline Safety Part I.
Dkmich writes about the Selling of America.
Patrick Crowley has some harsh words for George McGovern in Senator McGovern, you can’t be anti-union and progressive.
The spark writes about employees of Cintas getting the shaft in Cintas Employees and Community Allies Demand Jobs Back for Fired Workers in Rally
Try democracy tells us about The word that must not be spoken: Organize
Savage shows us his photos of the Philly Labor Rally In Support of the Employee Free Choice Act (photoblog)
Enjoy the diaries and treat the comments as an open thread.
