Hello and welcome to another installment of Labor Diary Rescue. So how many of you guys attended a tea party for shits and giggles? I attended one in my county. It was pretty tame compared to the crazy stuff I’ve been seeing from people who went to other places. Anyway, diaries are below the fold.
Here's a classic for all you Simpsons lovers out there:
Five diaries are up for rescue tonight. As always, if you want your diary to be on the LDR you must have a diary with the word “union” in the tag, have less than 100 comments, be pro-union, and not be recommended or on any other diary rescue list. LDR is done every Monday and Thursday evening. If you want to keep up to date on the latest pro-union diaries, please subscribe to this and any authors that you like below.
RDemocrat shows the rich arguing against EFCA and a strong middle class in What They CAN Afford.
Shirah continues his excellent series The poison fruit of deregulation - Airline Safety Part II.
Cardozo has started a series of diaries on the progress of EFCA. Unfortunately his assessment may be correct in Slip Slidin' Away: Deconstructing EFCA v.1:
Devtob shows a newspaper up to no good in A bloggy boycott of an anti-union newspaper.
The Electrical Worker reports on some more union busting, this time by a “green” company in High Road or Low Road in Renewable Energy Manufacturing?
Enjoy the diaries and treat the comments as an open thread.
