-Dodd's financial good news and bad news
-Roland Burris outperforms expectations!
~Dodd's Good and Bad News~
The good news: Chris Dodd pulled in a hefty $1 million in campaign funds for the first quarter of 2009, giving him $1.4 million in the bank. "This lays a solid foundation to build a strong, grassroots campaign that will remind the people of Connecticut that Sen. Dodd has been fighting on their side and will continue to fight on their behalf," campaign manager Jay Howser said in a statement.
The bad news? Only five of the over four hundred donors who gave money to the campaign were actually from Connecticut.

Senator Roland Burris raised $845 dollars in the first quarter of 2009, bringing to mind the question all of us want answered: Who on earth would donate money to Roland Burris?
