Goodbye Oliver Cromwell.

Take Calvin with you.

Bye, Bye Virginia Foxx,  Maggie the Marriage Maven, and Betty "Go Back to Asia" Brown.  Miss California has made the whine fest but missed the bust, er, bus, apparently someone actually gave her the bust.

Hit the Road Rush.  Quit crying little Glenn Beck.

So long, farewell, auf Wiedersehen, goodbye
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye

Morality Police - you never were a majority and most certainly never were moral.

You see:

It's wild! It's gay!

The Lusty Month of May.  Welcome Back America, we can breathe again!
We can Live again, all of us, even the sour, the dour, can hear the the Restoration of the American Spirit.

Don't let your box turtle bite, Senator - Christian* Marriage and Traditional Marriage have very little in common, after all, as you would tell America if you were honest enough to tell others about how marriage by cohabitation was preserved in Texas' anti-marriage amendment because the Bigots could not otherwise have gotten the votes to pass it.  Just as long as the two people shacking up were of differing genders it was traditional enough for Texas.

May, Gay, Play!  How Human, how very very human, perhaps one might say even a human face of God.

Not sterile.  Not puritan.  Not controlling.  Just plain human - and American.  As American as a young man's first purchase of Trojans at the pharmacy.

Tra la! It's May!
The lusty month of May!
That lovely month when ev'ryone goes
Blissfully astray.
Tra la! It's here!
That shocking time of year
When tons of wicked little thoughts
Merrily appear!

Thank you Julie Andrews.

Camelot.  The Sound of Music.  And Le Jazz Hot!!!!

America is back.  Back in the World.  Back in the spirits and smiles and friendliness of her people.  Back in their Hearts, their dreams and their minds,  back with the Liberty and Freedom of thought and of expression and of education and labor and responsibility and progress which will sustain her people for generations yet to come.

Victor/Victoria has dethroned Victoria Regina.

Oh baby, won't you play me
Le Jazz Hot, maybe,
And don't ever let it end.
I tell ya friend, it's really somethin' to hear.
I can't sit still when there's that rhythm near me.
Also, baby, Le Jazz Hot, maybe
What's holdin' my soul together!
Don't know whether it's mornin' or night;
Only know it's soundin' right.
So come on in and play me
Le Jazz Hot, baby,
'Cause I love my Jazz...hot!

Hold your soul together America.  The Long Dark days of punitive amorality; torture - physical, spiritual and mental -  and the very rape of the American spirit are giving way to freedom and growth and progress.

And don't ever let it end.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
