Well, you have to listen to this first...
It was not so long ago during the January campaign for chairman of the Republican National Committee, when Michael Steele smacked down Chip Saltsman's distribution of a CD with a song called "Barack the Magic Negro." He said, "It doesn’t help at all", but in the Bill Bennett's radio show this morning when a caller called Obama the "magic negro", he was delighted to agree with the caller and some. Here is the transcript:
CALLER: It's just like the LA Time said last year or two years ago: He is the magic Negro.
STEELE: Yeah he -- [laughing]. You read that too, huh? [still laughing]
CALLER: Oh yeah. I read that too. Even when things go wrong, he still manages to come out smelling like a rose.
STEELE: Well, yeah.
I am just shaking my head and wonder if this is the kind of re-branding Eric Cantor was talking about that will ensure democrats take another 10 more Senate seats by 2014.
I really think Michael Steele is way over his head and is good for the continuation of the fall of the Republican party. Your thoughts??
