Does the list of stupidity of the Bush administration policies never end? Just when you think you have heard of the most bone-headed policy, another even bonier-headed policy is exposed. Now it appears that the Pentagon has been including Bible quotes for its daily briefings, as if the Iraq War into some sort of Christian Crusade.
For a period in 2003, at least, the daily reports prepared for President George W. Bush carried quotes from the books of Psalms and Ephesians and the epistles of Peter. At the time, the reports focused largely on the war in Iraq.
The Bible quotes apparently aimed to support Bush at a time when soldiers' deaths in Iraq were on the rise, according to the June issue of GQ magazine.

Who would have suspected that this would offend Muslims?
Thankfully, the new administration has ended the policy.
