Sen. Edward Kennedy’s brain cancer is in remission and the Massachusetts Democrat is expected back in the Senate after the Memorial Day recess, according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Sen. Reid (D-Nev.) said Tuesday that he spoke with Kennedy’s wife and was told the 77-year-old lawmaker will return to work full time during the first week of June.

It seems pretty improbable to me that Sen. Kennedy's cancer, malignant glioma, is in full remission. But this sounds like VERY GOOD news indeed.
It has been almost exactly 1 year since his diagnosis, his battle so far has been remarkable.
Here is NPR discussing Sen. Kennedy's diagnosis, one year ago: http://www.npr.org/...
Will post updates as I see them.

Reid was asked about Kennedy's health by a reporter and he replied, "He's doing fine. He's going through another regimen of treatment which he is not unusual. This is something that was expected. He wanted to have the treatment next week. They had to move it up a week, as I understand it," according to a transcript of the interview obtained by ABC News.
He was asked if Kennedy is in remission and Reid replied, "As far as I know it is, yes."
