The latest undemployment numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show unemployment was 20 percent higher in March in Obama states than McCain states. Naturally, WorldNetDaily has pounced on it, suggesting that if things don't turn around, Obama and the Dems are doooooooomed in 2010.
If unemployment numbers in the blue states do not begin improving soon, the Democratic Party may start expressing concerns about 2010 mid-term election losses in both governor races and in Congress, many political observers say.
Apparently it hasn't occurred to Joseph Farah that voters in blue states know that Obama inherited a quagmire from Bush. Now you wouldn't think that they'd be inclined to give him time to clean it up, wouldn't you? But then again, those cansarn facts never got in the way of wingers.
For instance, WorldNutDaily claims that voters in Michigan might be disappointed by Obama's failure to keep Chrysler out of bankruptcy. Last I checked, Obama's spun it pretty well that Chrysler's bankruptcy was due to greedy bondholders.
WND also states that no McCain state had over 12 percent unemployment. But what WND doesn't tell us is that most of these states probably weren't going to vote for Obama anyway.
All told, one can only conclude that WorldNutDaily so wants Obama to fail that it's actually looking for a collapse before it happens.
