To what extent has the the rapid pacing of information age affected our expectations of the speed at which Obama should be taking care of business?
Twitter-style diary today. Glenn Greenwald thinks Obama's speech is just more words, wants action. Bill Kristol says Obama's words not words of elder statesman like Cheney. Fair enough. But fixing Washington is like reconfiguring a tar pit. Not saying Obama's thought everything through, but... we should at least wait a few years for things to shake out? A nation isn't a stock market ticker. And Obama isn't Jesus -- he has to learn the ropes like everyone else.
