The peacocks and peahens were busy courting and looking lovely as ever today ...

This is the living Earth and it is a wonderful thing. I encourage everyone to reconnect with Nature. Humans evolved outside and humans belong outside. Indoor living is bad for the soul.
Humor is also good for the soul. I have heard that there are no funny conservative comedians. That's simply wrong. Here is a funny conservative comedian:

"Conservative Comedy with Political Satirist PJ O'Rourke"
Humans need comedy to break through all the sorrow which our civilization has imposed upon us. Although all of our arguments and struggles seem meaningful there is a larger context in which all of this is irrelevant.
In the long run there are no winners and no losers. In the long run there is no one at all. So a certain amount of futility attaches to every human endeavor.
Who is right? Who is wrong?
I suppose that we are all right and we are all wrong. There is a mixture of truth and error in every individual's mind. Error vastly exceeds truth, too, though no one would ever confess that this is the case.
As for myself, when I got weary of looking at the Universe through human eyes I sought out the animals and wondered how this Universe must look through their own eyes. The animals aren't at all like the humans. Thank God. Could you imagine what this planet would look like if a million species were all living in the same manner as the humans?
The theory that humans are better than the animals has failed. Humans have progressed a whole bunch throughout our species' history. Too bad all this progress was down a dead-end path. Too bad that much of this progress was devoted to military technology and the tools of violence and mass murder. Too bad humans hated the Earth so much that our species was willing to destroy it while dreaming of leaving for some other (nonexistent) planet.
Make peace with Nature. Live peacefully with all humans. Learn to love poverty.
That's my advice. Free advice, too.
