I was just watching Andrea Mitchell interview Gov. Tim Pawlenty on MSNBC (no tape up yet) and she asked when he will certify Al Franken as the winner in the Senatorial contest. He said, "As soon as the state court hands down their decision, and instructs me to sign the certification, I will do so."
Andrea also requested the Governor's view of the poll showing that Huckabee, Palin and Rommney were statistically tied in the preferences of Republicans, and what that might mean for his Presidential ambitions. He didn't bite, saying only that ..."no one knows me so it wouldn't matter if I had been included."
This guy is a measured, sane sounding conservative. He bears watching.
Not much meat here, but I thought you should know...
