In one of the most laughable and insane posts I have ever read (and that is saying A LOT) at RedHate, in a diary titled "How is this not a conflict," Erick the Stupid Erickson has come to the conclusion that because of something that I can't quite figure out, that in Barack Obama's speech to the Muslim world from Cairo today the following statements don't make sense and somehow is going to get us all killed.
More below
No single nation should pick and choose which nations hold nuclear weapons.
That is why I strongly reaffirmed America’s commitment to seek a world in which no nations hold nuclear weapons.
Now, I don't see what Erick is trying to get at here, which is once again why the whole thing is so laughable (as usual). No, it really isn't up to any one nation as to who should be allowed to possess nukes and yes, it really would be fantastic if no nation possessed nukes. Duh!
Let's see what dumbass is all worried about all of us dying over.
Barack Obama’s standard pattern and practice is to discuss where we are today, where he wants us to be, and ignore the process to get us there.
When people ask, his response is, "Let me show you the shiny."
Hope and change are not his true slogans, shiny is.
Take this one section of his speech to Muslims.
Insert the two sentences from above as the proof of showing everyone the Shiny! Erick goes on to ask if (invoke Jimmy Carter once again) did President Obama learn nothing from the Carter administration and that no way is Russia, China, and of course North Korea are NEVAH going to give up their nukes!
This is where we come to the stunning conclusion of insanity.
Barack Obama’s ivory tower naiveté will get us all killed.
Now, back to the part where I cannot figure out what the hell Erick is talking about, again, as usual. How does stating that no country should tell others what to do but it sure would be nice if we all did things more peacefully get us from Point A to Point We All Get Killed?
I think the Asshat just wanted to use the phrase, the Shiny, so he could build his blog cred.
