The sanctity of Sanford's love life now must be respected, according to some here on The Daily Kos.
I call Bullshit.
There is a diarist that claims that revealing the contents of the Sanford emails was:
"the unnecessary fire bombing of a person's love
life"
How quaint. How respectful. This was not his "love life", this was an adulterous affair perpetrated by a hypocritical Governor who was also a party leader, and contender for the presidency.
The only "love life" this low life gets to have is the one with his wife. To confer a respectful position to his infidelity compounds the issues, in that he is a hypocrite who thinks he is God as he doesn't have to obey the rules that he sets down for everyone else.
Secondly, any idiot who emails love letters to his paramour deserves to be exposed. Even our kids know that any email can be retrieved and never to send something you would be ashamed that the world would see.
This turd deserves nothing. And while both KO and Rachel gave the emails more importance than was necessary, they did not violate the sanctity of Sanford's love life by doing so. They revealed his hypocrisy, he was the one who knew his family, his career and reputation would be destroyed if he got caught. IOKIYAR.
It is very interesting that the diarist was more concerned about the exposing of the governor's illicit love life, demanding we respect this sleaze bag's right to have an affair!
Sanford didn't give a damn about the woman who stood by him for twenty years, bore him four kids, the family is the real victim here, followed by all of those harmed by his hypocritical statements and votes.
And here is another parting thought, many adulterers are serial adulterers. Does anyone think that Clinton only strayed once? Edwards? Ensign? How about a review of Gingrich's many infidelities and serial marriages. There may be more revelations to come.
