Andrea Mitchell just reported this on MSNBC from Aspen. She says that her sources, have a whole different story than what she's telling people during her press conference (and didn't we all know that).

Sarah Palin is quitting. The question is why (If she really is; I've got my comments on that below); we don't know why yet?

Sarah Palin supposedly said "I've had it, I can't take it anymore, I'm out of politics"; and I'm perplexed. I knew something was fishy as soon as I heard this.

The bottom line is, she lied, she couldn't take the heat, or someone is blackmailing her, or something large looms ahead, that we don't know about.

Sarah Palin is not helping herself (I think) by quitting. I guess she just took the reported $7million dollars for her book deal and ran! This women doesn't really want to be in political office anymore (except in Alaska). She was never suited for it (in so many ways). She's now realized that, after receiving that big, fat check (it sure as hell aint political strategy)!

As soon as I get the video, I will post it.

Sarah Palin is a disaster! We all  knew this(except for right win diehards); but this will not help her!!

Trooper Gate, Wolf Gate-Reimbursement Gate, Bridge To No Where Gate, I'm stupid-Gate, Debate-Gate (unprepared), I can see Russia From My Window-Gate, Turkey-Gate, Levi Johnston-Gate, Baby-Gate, etc. etc. etc. It goes on and on!!

Remember; Palin was always a joke. How did she get elected to the Alaska Governship you may ask. Simple. Former Alaska Governor Frank Murkowski was ridden in scandal. It was politics as usual in Alaska, and here's stupid Sarah, the anti-politician, anti-Murkowski. She was perfect (Remember, the population of Alaska,is only 600,000) for was perfect for Alaska (a state where in a Governor's debate, I saw the candidates discuss something as innocuous as Moose farming, while Sarah Palin in another debate, carry a stack of books onto the stage, stating I don't know what my smarter opponents know, but; by golly I'm  honest)!"

This is what we're dealing with in Sarah Palin and the state of Alaska guys. Sarah Palin was always (and still is small potatoes). The media want's us to think otherwise. But when you ask you're self, why does Sarah Palin do somany stupid things/maneuveurs; just know that she should of never been Governor in the first place, and she got elected by extroidinary circumstances (But even $2000 tax rebates to every citizen, and her suppossed folksy charm, can't cover up her myriad of mistakes, only highlighted/magnified by her disasterous Vice-Presidential run).

Thank  you for doing the state of Alaska, Republicans and Americans a favor by stepping out (hopefully) of politics! But in reality though; she's been out of politics (and into tabloid-Reality TV) since she lost the Vice Presidency. Think about it? Did Sarah Palin ever appear, that she was ready to pay her dues in offic? She just wants to be a what she's always been; a incoherent, decrepid speech maker/semi-journalist/wannabee commentator.

Some how though; I don't think so.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
