Cross-posted from Thinking Out Loud in Texas When I saw this post in the Huffington Post, I was as mad as h---. How could any congressman refer to any serious question about healthcare reform as bulls---? Well, it happened, and for those Ohioans who have the misfortune of living in his congressional district, remember Republican Rep. Steve LaTourette. More below
Here's LaTourette in action with the "bulls---" word: And watch LaTourette say that while it's all right for Republicans to criminally disrupt Democratic gatherings on healthcare reform, no one should do the same in his townhalls: I thought this sort of thing more closely resembled the sort of Taliban tactics I'd expect from my area's congressman, Pete Sessions (TX-32), but I guess the Sessions disease has spread to other parts of this country, as we see from the actions of this Ohio GOP congressman. I hope some resident of his district will give him the challenge of his lief when he comes up for re-election next year. Speaking of townhalls, Sessions (TX-32) will be holding a townhall at Irving City Hall starting at 7 p.m. Aug. 19. I hope we get better behavior from Sessions than what the Ohio Republican provided when he was asked questions about healthcare reform.
