It should come as no surprise that Obama and his underlings are now letting it be known that the administration is willing to drop the one provision of the new health care proposal that might make it worth supporting. Namely the Public Option, a starter version of socialized medicine meant to compete with the insurance companies. I for one might have been willing to hold my nose and support this kind of half measure, even though like every other half measure since the beginning of time it was doomed to failure and would at best be a Band-Aid until a real solution is enacted. But without the Private Option, the only use I would have for this bill is if it were printed on the softest, most pliable and most absorbent paper.

What have we learned?
The Republitards can insult the President at every turn, claim he’s not really the Chief Executive because he was born in Kenya, incite deranged thugs with firearms to lurk outside his speeches, herd mobs of angry morons to harass and intimidate his supporters at town hall meetings and what does Obama do?
He caves in to their demands.
On the other hand, people who supported Obama through thick and thin get knifed in the back as Obama can’t muster the backbone to stick to his own feeble promises. Thanks for nothing, Mr. President.
One more thing: Remember all the hot air from yellowbellies about how Obama’s Department of Justice can’t prosecute war criminals who not only admit freely to torture, kidnapping and murder, but brag about it? What was the limp excuse used at the time? Why, Obama needed his hands free to push for health care reform, of course!
