Just watched enough of State of the Union to make me puke. The title of the segment was "Reset Health Care Reform?"
The illustrious right-leaning panel included Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Indiana, Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Connecticut, and Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Maryland.
Reset on health care reform??? Who, other than 20% of the population and, apparently, John King, is calling for that?
King himself talked of the "necessary" 60 votes, and Lieberman dodged the question as to whether or not he would vote with the dem caucus for cloture.
Both Lugar and Lieberman said that now is not the time for "radical" reform in our current system. Those poor, poor Americans are just overwhelmed with the problems of the day and simply cannot handle the fear of the unknown... Everybody's scared, and all those people protesting are so afraid of uncertainty and change.... (afraid of a black [muslim/christian/black nationalist] president and the prospect of nazi death panels and losing white power, more like)
Well, FUCK YOU. Now is EXACTLY the time for change - we're all fucking BROKE!! And our exorbitant health insurance premiums don't help anything at all.
Lieberman complains about our deficit - well, jackass, you sure did a lot to avoid that, didn't you?
John King sucks.
