I know there's a lot going on and this is very much a back-burner thing, but I have just been beside myself since I heard that dog abuser Michael Vick was signed to play again.
Shame on the Eagles!
But I am not here just to rant and rave. It is now time for a word with their sponsors...
I think these companies should be very clear on just how people feel about their support for a convicted dog abuser. Don't you? Let's Beck 'em! Or at least get them to think about their message they're (inadvertently) sending.
I've already written to the Eagles:
Hello:
I have to be unpleasantly honest and tell you that you should be ashamed of yourselves for signing Michael Vick.
Way to send a message that cruelty to animals is socially acceptable; this man deserves nothing but the ignominy he's already earned.
You have done your team and the great city of Philadelphia a tremendous dishonor.
Have a spicy day.
It might also be worthwhile to share your thoughts with the NFL as well; this besmirches them as much as anyone.
I personally hope people boycott the crap out of the franchise.
Peace
