They're insane. We know they're insane, and they'll use any lie they can to stop health care reform because they don't want Democrats to get the credit for passing a bill that helps Americans.
The latest lie is detestable, and is being used in a GOP fundraising "survey". Specifics over the jump...
From the article:
"It has been suggested that the government could use voter registration to determine a person's political affiliation, prompting fears that GOP voters might be discriminated against for medical treatment in a Democrat-imposed health care rationing system. Does this possibility concern you?"
Raymond Denny, a retired insurance underwriter, characterized the question as akin to "Have you stopped beating your wife yet?"
"It's so blatantly lopsided," he said. "I called them up and said, 'This is ridiculous!' They just said, 'All right.'"
The RNC did not return a call requesting comment.
This is the lowest of the low, on par or worse than "death panels," "death booklets" and other wingnutisms. It proves (as if we needed more proof) that the Repubs have no shame and there is no depth too low for them to sink.
It's akin to saying that the post office won't deliver mail to Republicans during a Democratic administration and vice versa. That Democratic veterans won't get health care during a Republican administration and vice versa. Despicable.
There ought to be a way to call the RNC on this garbage. Why aren't we seeing more MSM articles on the Repubs pattern of lie & distort? By the end of the Presidential campaign, there was negative coverage of the disgusting GOP campaign rallies, particularly those with Sarah Palin. How can we get we facilitate such coverage with regard to health care reform? Because if we don't, the lies will gain credence.
Apologies if this is a duplicate - I couldn't find it when I searched.
