I'm marching on Washington, baby! And I'm bringing my whole family.
Here is a diary with information about the march and a link to a site where you can register.
I'm going to the arts and crafts store to pick up some posterboards, long sticks and paint; it'll actually be a nice way to pass some time on this last week of summer vacation while the kids are still at home.
The problem is that I'm a little blocked on good sign ideas. Public Option Now? Blech. So Boring.
I really would like to highlight the fact that I have a disabled kid, and though we are insured, we live in constant fear that we will be discovered and dropped. Any appointment that could possibly be linked to her autism we pay for out of pocket so she's "off the grid". It sucks.
You all are so clever, you clever, funny, liberal things! Help me out with some ideas for signs that are effective and not too wordy. And if you can manage to throw a little humor in, all the better.
If I get a good response, I'll put my favorites in a poll and we'll take a vote.
