Congresswomen Lofgren, I have some simple questions for you:
*) WHAT I WANNA KNOW is WHAT in the world are you waiting for by witholding your support for real health care reform that of course has to include a robust public option?
*) WHAT I WANNA KNOW is WHY in the world you were the first member of congress to endorse Gov. Dean for President in April 2003 and now you are wavering and waffling on real health care reform?
*) What I wanna know is when in the world you will finally regain your consciousness and remember your OWN words from 2003 "I am ready to work for him [Dean] and to help build the resources to make his campaign a success", being fully aware that fundamental health care reform was always a centerpiece of his lifelong political agenda?
*) What I wanna know is why in the world you have not yet taken the pledge for a public option?
*) What I wanna know is if pharmaceutical companies are more important to you than ordinary people, and if yes, could that be the reason for witholding your support for real health care reform?
*) What I wanna know, Congresswomen Lofgren, is will you wake up in time and stand up for what needs to be done and be a part of the solution,
OR will you be part of the problem and come down on the wrong side of history by objecting to real reform and thus undermining the progressive agenda of an entire generation?
Congresswomen Lofgren: Wake up, it's your turn!
