Look, it should be obvious to all that conservatives hate America. The teabagging, hateful idiots that protest have proven it.
First of all, look at the flag they've been waving around at their protests. Not only have they decided to desecrate the American flag, but this has been wholeheartedly condoned by the leaders of the conservative movement (i.e., Beck and Limbaugh).
If we waved that during Bush's Presidency, we would've been denounced as treasonous traitors to America. Yet the conservatives are quite comfortable with the desecration of the American flag.
Now some people might say they have the right to do that. I agree. They do have the right to do that. Just as I have the right to call them an America-hating douche bag.
I'll invite you to notice that at these town hall meetings, every time an American comes up and tells of their own nightmarish experience in dealing with the insurance companies, all the right wing does is mock them. They're mocking their own citizens for being shafted by the insurance company. Take this video, for instance, in which a wheelchair bound woman is booed for explaining her problems with the insurance industry:
Ignore the rant about tort reform. The rest of the vid is good.
This is the kind of stuff that comes out of the right wing. Americans can't afford health insurance? Screw 'em! Americans get foreclosed on their home because they lost their job? They're just jealous of the rich. They will continue telling you that Americans shouldn't work for a minimum wage, they shouldn't have safety regulations at work, and the ability to stand up for yourself (by joining a union) is just communist.
But waving a defaced American flag is just fine.
Conservatives won big in 2004 because they questioned the patriotism of anyone who didn't agree with them. They didn't spend time explaining huge amounts of policy or spend all their time debunking attacks from the other side. They just attacked our patriotism. We should do the same to them.
The only difference is, we're correct when we do it.
