This diary is part of an ongoing series called Two Minutes Hate, in which the author enjoys several minutes of cathartic anger at the douchebag of the day. Lovers of reasoned, intelligent debate need not read on.
Olympia Snowe wants the infirm, the sick, and the poor to be put down.
I've never read a scholarly work of history other than The Holy Bible, but I'm pretty sure that's exactly like Hitler.
According to Senator Snowe, eliminating the public option
"would allay the concerns of so many of whether or not there's a government takeover."
And Senator Snowe showing her own reflection in a mirror would allay concern as to whether or not she's a bloodsucking vampire.
"The point is, I don't support a public option, and none of my Republican colleagues do."
Actually ma'am, that's plain fucking bullshit. You and all your Republican colleagues currently UTILIZE a "public option", known as the Federal Employee Health Insurance plan. You soulless, money-fucking hypocrite.
...OK, that one was too easy. Let's move on to our BONUS HATE:
The Roberts court thinks that the rights of corporations are being trampled
Justice Anthony Kennedy, often the high court's swing vote, but a firm opponent of many campaign restrictions, at one point told the government's lawyer, "Corporations have lots of knowledge about environment, transportation issues, and you are silencing them during the election."
Yes, the voices of corporations, with their infinite Galtian wisdom, have been stifled! To hear their point of view, you'd have to go to the extreme lengths of reading any one of the hundreds of corporate-owned newspapers, or watching any of the half-dozen major corporate news outlets, or viewing the hundreds of millions of dollars-worth of advertisements purchased by corporate PACs, or listening to the talking points of the bought-and-paid-for politicians that those corporations work like fucking sock puppets.
CLEARLY THE CORPORATIONS ARE BEING DISADVANTAGED HERE.
And the article is laced with that signature of the Associated Press, BRAINLESS EQUIVOCATION:
The Supreme Court signaled Wednesday it may let businesses and unions spend freely to help their favored candidates in time for next year's elections.
Oh, so it would loosen restrictions on unions too? Then clearly, it's only fair to let 13 trillion dollars of private capital loose in the field of political campaigns, because that will be more than canceled out by the hamstrung and shriveling unions that haven't dominated an election since Southern racists still voted Democrat.
Fuck Olympia Snowe, fuck the AP, and fuck the Roberts Court.
