I know some people already have stated what I am about to say here. But what else did we hear or see tonight besides Wilson's disrespectful comment.
Was there a message in the president's speech that we need to take to our communities and share with people might not be listening? Should we have a discussion on the Front Page or in a diary on the rec list somewhere?
What did we take away from the speech? Did you hear something you wanted to? Do you think he still needs to give us a little more explanation?
I am hoping this is some of what we will be talking about on this site tomorrow. Wilson needs to be punished for what he did. But we can still organize to get him his just due, and in the meantime keep the health care debate at the fore front.
I did not watch the president's speech because I was buried in my books doing school work. I had hoped to come here to see a robust discussion on the speech.
The disgusting comment from the ignoramus that is Wilson, turn my stomach. But I was also waiting to see if there was going to be a diary discussing the health care.
No doubt Wilson needs to be crushed for his disrespect. But let's not allow the media to make this speech all about Wilson and not the real deal.
Health care for me and millions of others can't wait. Let's talk about it here. I am busy in school, but with my few waking hours, I am ready to do my part to kick these Republican hoodlums to the curb.
