It's Obama's world. We're all just living in it.
What President Obama accomplished tonight is very significant. I believe he turned a freight train of negativity in the media around one hundred and eighty degrees.
There won't be much debate of whether Obama accomplished his goals tonight. I think he did. I think what he REALLY did was preach to the Democratic choir while throwing the Republicans a few bones.
I think he set the tone for what will now transpire in the senate and satisfied alot of expectations for house democrats.
Truthfully, I have been growing weary of Obama's declining poll numbers and the stagnant process on health care legislation. This speech was a real jolt for me and brought back the Obama of old who I supported during the campaign.
I knew he would do well, but I did not expect him to be perfect. Tonight he touched perfection.
He handled a great deal of information eloquently and did not get bogged down in style or delivery.
He rallied his Democratic troops tonight and stood up for the public option (although surely not saying what many at dkos might want him to say in that regard).
I was not expecting to be inspired tonight. But history has shown me that Obama can achieve high levels of inspiration at key moments. Well, he did it again.
I enjoyed watching the Republicans sitting on their hands most of the evening. Why fake it?
After reading many commentaries tonight my Obama buzz has worn off slowly. I believe some folks here cannot see the forest for the trees.
Obama is going to get this done.
