Overall, Rob Miller is close to hitting $400,000 from almost 11,000 patriots sick and tired of Republicans like Rep. Joe Wilson trying to debase our democracy (the numbers in the thermometer above are just from Daily Kos). But while they try to disrupt our democracy, we engage in it. That's why we've won the last two cycles, and why we can reverse historical trends and hold our own in 2010.
Update: Let's see how Republican efforts to combat this money bomb are doing: $200 from 5 contributors. Yup, conservatives would rather disrupt than engage.
Note, Miller raised $340K from individual donations ALL of 2008. He's beaten that in 18 hours. And going into the last reporting period, Wilson had $180,000 cash advantage on hand. Those two words -- which have now cost Wilson nearly $200,000 each -- have utterly shifted the ground in this district.
Update: Oops, it was $180,000 cash advantage over Rob Miller, not $180,000 cash total. Post updated to fix mistake.
