There was a surprise on TV...
Finally, at least as I am concerned, someone finally went there. Law and Order, a real Bastion of right wing Law and Order think, tackled the issue of the Bush Crime family and all of its evil deeds.
I don't know how much of this I am allowed to write, and the admins of this blog can remove this diary if they chose, but it was a truly beliveable scenario. A "University Law Poffessor" is accussed of gunning down an Iragi war vet who had been at Abu Gharab and had tortured a "detainee", who had died. Coincidently, the professor, not name Gonzo, had been the drafter of a legal opionion authorizing the President to use any measure desired to "protect America".
Tortured by this, he confronts the "professor" with the intent of blackmailing him; the professor killing the vet with a hand gun. Transistion to "Jack" the righteous. The professor gets off on the killing and Jack decides to charge the prfoessor and the whole Bush Administration with conspiracy. Yes they said Bush, at least twice, and Cheney, at least three times. They used the real names. Just as the jury is hands an order from a high court to the persiding judege, who announces the trial is over, before the verdict of the jury can be read into the record. The end.
I couldn't belive my eyes or my ears. That was the most forthright yet expression of outrage against the Bush Crime Family I have seen, and certainly the only real attack of them I have seen in a popular media of this type. Yet, no one on this blog or anywhere else is talking about it today.
What gives?
