I'm not quite sure what to make of this.
This video was apparently shot during an "unpermitted""protest march at the G-20 meeting in Pittsburgh.
The video shows two men wearing military fatigues jumping out of an unmarked car, grabbing a protester and shoving him into the car before speeding off.
It is a disturbing thing to watch, a little reminiscent of watching the Iranian Revolutionary Guards engaged in similar snatch and grab actions in the suppression of protests in Tehran.
It is unclear whether the men are actually soldiers. Some have suggested that they might be Secret Service. But they are clearly dressed to look like soldiers and that, combined with their use in a snatch and grab like this can only have a chilling effect on the expression of public dissent.
If anybody here is in Pittburgh or has a better understanding of what is going on here, please chime in. I've seen no coverage of this in the corporate media and find it very troubling.
