You would think that in a post Abu Ghraib world posing with your detainees as some kind of hunting trophy would... ah, who am I kidding. Of course you would think things like this would be commonplace.
At least I would.
The 2008 DNC was in my town of Denver last summer, and I got into an argument with a friend in the D.A.'s office that thought it was harmless and funny that the Denver Police had t-shirts made that said "We get up early to BEAT the crowds".
There should be a higher standard of conduct when a society allows certain members the power of the badge, baton, and gun.
I know that there are some great members of our country's police forces out there. Would one of them explain to me, if this video is showing what it appears to show, why these men should not be fired and how they are upholding the call to "serve and protect"?
