Maybe I just wasn't made to be a member of any organized group.I manage to piss people in power off no matter where I go.I did it again by inviting a gentleman named Shaun McNally, who is running for the dem nomination for the 2nd congressional district in CT.,to a statewide Dean meeting in New Haven,CT.today.I figuered that although this guy isn't as "progressive" as most who would be there and that those in positions of power(and at least in CT. for Dean, their are those who think they are in power)have basically crowned the other guy running,Sullivan,as their(and our) candidate.
It seems this guy McNally really pissed off alot of the Dem. machinery who were at the meeting today when he was a state rep. Although there was visable tension in the room between him and the Dean backers who were from the old party machinary I think that made me feel even better about my decision to invite him.
Most of the machine people who came to the Dean campaign came late and I really don't want us to morph into another top down organization.
