What a great system.
We are exposed legally to toxins allowed in our water and foods by our government, then we get sick and/or obese, and the pharma and health industries make profits from our sickness and our children's disorders. No pun, but how SICK is that!
We do, if we can afford health care, otherwise we just suffer and, too often, die.
Can someone answer this question for me? If we can't find food, air, and water that isn't toxic, how can we be deemed responsible for the quality of our health?
I hope you will share this information with the people you love!
Top of the list is something called BPA that lines our canned foods, is present in baby bottles, water bottles, and most plastics in contact with our food. BPA is also called the Gender Bender chemical because it is an estrogen agonist.
But NO studies have been done to study the effects on HUMANS. How can people like this representative of the Chemical industry sleep at night!
Again, the tobacco and asbestos industries were deemed safe for decades, too!
Who is watching our backs and our childrens health?
In rivers with high levels of Gender Bender BPA, fish and frogs are becoming androgenis, having both female and male sex organs. Doesn't this raise some serious questions about the safety of lining our canned foods with BPA?
Did you know that BPA can cause many of our new epidemics like ADHD, breast cancer, prostrate cancer, and type II diabetes? And did you know that when BPA studied in the 1930s the scientists discovered that BPA affects estrogen. But that didn't stop BPA's use in baby bottles which are heated in microwaves! Who is watching our backs, folks? Our children's developing brains and reproductive organs?
BPA is one of the highest-volume chemicals and is produced in excess of 6 billion pounds per year for use as the monomer that is polymerized to manufacture polycarbonate plastic food and beverage containers, the resin lining of metal cans, dental sealants, and as an additive in a wide array of other products. BPA was reported by Dodds and Lawson (2) in 1936 to be a full estrogen agonist, before chemical engineers determined in the 1950s that this hormonally active drug could be polymerized to produce polycarbonate plastic.

The first reported synthesis of BPA was from Thomas Zincke of the University of Marburg, Germany.
In 1953, Dr. Hermann Schnell of Bayer in Germany and Dr. Dan Fox of General Electric
in the United States independently developed manufacturing processes for a new plastic material, polycarbonate, using BPA as the starting material.

BPA, General Electric, and Bayer Pharmaceuticals? Is this a strange partnership?
Low doses of Bisphenol A (BPA), a packaging chemical, can damage the development of young brains, according to new scientific study.

But, like tobacco and asbestos our friends, the FDA etc., who are supposed to protect our children and us are denying the impact BPA is causing.
The FDA allows most if not all of our canned foods to be lined with, and in direct contact with BPA. Many canned foods are even heated before sealed which can release the BPA INTO the canned foods. So if your a vegetarian and think those canned beans are great, you might want to do some research for yourself and your family. Young children and pregnant women should probably not be exposed to BPA! Again, it is called the Gender Bender!
I think everyone seems to have a price tag. Paid enough, anyone who should know better seems to go along with industry, to our potential detriment.
Do you think the $2 Billion The NIH just got from Obama could be partially used to provide some scientific studies to remove the toxins from our food supply?
So, how are we supposed to avoid BPA?
A great toxin we can thank Germany for is sodium flouride, now in our drinking water, although Germany banned water flouridation years ago. Actually the US and Australia are the two countries most committed to flouridating drinking water. Most industrialized countries do not:
And, yes, it has been reported
Fluoridation was used first in Russian concentration camps and then in german concentration camps. Could it be that this was for the good of the prisoners?
http://www.thepetitionsite.com/...
Others are less diplomatic about the reason for flouridating concentration camp water:
"Repeated doses of infinitesimal amounts of fluoride will in time reduce an individual's power to resist domination by slowly poisoning and narcotizing a certain area of the brain and will thus make him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him. "Both the Germans and the Russians added sodium fluoride to the drinking water of prisoners of war to make them stupid and docile."
http://befreetech.com/...
Stupid and docile? Americans have been flouridated their entire lives. Are there any signs of stupid and docile Americans?
Ok, maybe dumbing down the population is a bit too conspiratorial sounding.
So what is the real reason we have flouride in our water? We can thank Alcoa Aluminum and it's Mellon Institute:
The first thing you have to understand about fluoride is that it's the problem child of industry. Its toxicity was recognized at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, when, in the 1850s iron and copper factories discharged it into the air and poisoned plants, animals, and people.
By the 1920's, rapid industrial growth had exacerbated the problems of industrial pollution, and fluoride was one of the biggest problems. Medical writer Joel Griffiths explains that "it was abundantly clear to both industry and government that spectacular U.S. industrial expansion -- and the economic and military power and vast profits it promised -- would necessitate releasing millions of tons of waste fluoride into the environment."(5) Their biggest fear was that "if serious injury to people were established, lawsuits alone could prove devastating to companies,
At first, industry could dispose of fluoride legally only in small amounts by selling it to insecticide and rat poison manufacturers. (17) But Dean's "discovery," paved the way for a commercial outlet for the toxin. Griffiths writes that this was not a scientific breakthrough, but rather part of a "public disinformation campaign" by the aluminum industry "to convince the public that fluoride was safe and good,"

And were does the flouride come from these days? This EPA letter provides some insight:
In regard to the use of fluosilicic acid as a source of fluoride for fluoridation, this Agency regards such use as an ideal environmental solution to a long-standing problem. By recovering by-product fluosilicic acid from fertiliser manufacturing, water and air pollution are minimized, and water utilities have a low-cost source of fluoride available to them.

And, if your bottle water originates from tap water, it probably has both BPA and Flouride for a full throttle toxic treat!
Aspartame - Not a good idea to feed to children, pregnant women, or people
If you go to minute 4:19, Dr. Russell L. Blaylock, Board Certified Neurosurgeon analyzes and exposes the Searle aspartame research. At 7:58 a presentation of what he calls our chemical exposure the "chemical dumbing down" of our people. The information ends at 9:00 where I suggest you stop watching. The end is tacky, stupid, and wrong.
We can't avoid these toxic chemicals. Water is added to just about everything and most of our foods and drinks are also packaged in BPA plastics.
So, again, if we are not protected, can't avoid these products, and are contracting chronic obesity, tumors, sterility, and even deadly diseases, couldn't the least our Congress can do is provide us with health care?
