Well, the GOP spent a whole day wallowing in deep CONCERN over whether Obama's done enough for world peace for an award of the Nobel Prize.
Apparently they could only stand the pretense for a day. Peace of the grave is the neocon peace: deeply suspicious that anything other than Bushian war and hostility is a sell out, anyone who isn't shooting first is suspect.
And now, the RNC pushes all the buttons of xenophobia, race, fears of socialist world conspiracies and black helicopters:
Asking for contributions to the RNC of $25 to $1,000, Steele wrote that "the Democrats and their international leftist allies want America made subservient to the agenda of global redistribution and control. And truly patriotic Americans like you and our Republican Party are the only thing standing in their way."

Now you might be asking yourself: what is he TALKING about? But there's no good answer: the letter is addressed at fearful teabaggers. It's not about reality, it's simply incorporating buzzwords.
So here's the buttons of fear and despair: International, leftist, subservient, global, redistribution, control. I especially like "redistribution": for everyone wondering how they would work in the race angle, it means "welfare" which means "black."
Those buzzwords can be rearranged by Beck or someother loser into a crazy rant, like those magnets for your refrigerator that are to be arranged into poetry, and every teabagger miliamen GOPer probably hears his latest conspiracy theory in that sentence.
Obama staked out hope and progress, dignity and rationality, and got a prize. The GOP staked out fear and despair, and got their fundraising letter.
