Yep, Here's why:
I visit Dailykos well, daily. And I can't think of a single day where I did not see a story that was somehow hammering Harry Reid for being 'weak', 'ineffective', 'useless' or some variation of that word. In contrast, the slightest criticism of Barack Obama sees severe pushback from the administrators and user of this site. Whether the criticism is legitimate or not.
A number of other blogs and Political sites has been reporting that the WH does support triggers over an actual public option. Which would be in line with Obama's attitude towards the Public Option all throughout this year: express support for it in speeches, but do jack to give it actual backing.
As soon as these reports started to hit we saw some ferocious defenses of Obama, yet no commendation at all of Reid for pushing for the Public Option. It is increasingly clear that all the pronouncements of Reid being the enemy of the Public Option and a 'weak leader' were wrong, and Obama putting doing the right thing of just getting a tick mark on 'Health Care Reform' were right. If Reid's efforts to get an actual Public Option are confirmed this week I hope Markos and all others who have attacked Harry Reid over the last few months will post a public apology on the main page.
Update: I expect a lot of flames directed my way since DailyKos doesn't seem to handle criticism or self-reflection very well. That's unfortunate because that's a quality I associate with blogs like Redstate.
