As you all know, few weeks ago, Limbaugh's NFL bid failed and the Right started to attack everyone but Limbaugh himself. Some went as far as to attack the White House. As you would expected, a GOP Rep. came to the defense of the "Great Leader" Limbaugh.
Here the context, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell testified to the House Judiciary Committee yesterday about legal issues related to football injuries. Apparently the topic wasn't the "taste" for everyone.
In fact, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) used the occasion to defend Limbaugh and to demand an apology from the NFL for Limbaugh's failed bid. King asked Goodell why the NFL didn't allowed Limbaugh to buy a team when the NFL approved "Offensive" musicians like Fergie and J-Lo "who have alleged that the CIA are terrorists... and liars... and used...verbal pornography" to own teams (The most hilarious part, Fergie and J-Lo are "terrorists" --incert snark---).
According to King, he can't find anything offensive that Limbaugh has said to justify Limbaugh's failed bill. Thank God the NFL commissioner never apologized to Limbaugh as requested by Rep. King. He just repeated his belief that Limbaugh’s comments about Donovan McNabb were offensive and inappropriate.
